Remote Support Terms and Conditions

 

You, the Client, agree to pay My Tech Geeks for remote support service. You agree to pay My Tech Geeks to troubleshoot and repair your computer or technical hardware at a rate of or $69.95 for up to the first 30 minutes of remote support. Remote Support provided following the first 30 minutes is billed at $15 per 15 minutes. Time is rounded to the nearest 15 minutes. Taxes extra.

Payment for remote support is due prior to the work being completed. Payment of one or more hours may be secured using a credit card through Square or PayPal prior to the work being completed. Payment may not actually completed until the remote support work has been completed.

The client agrees that My Tech Geeks may subcontract work to another company if the need arises.

My Tech Geeks will take every precaution to preserve all of the Client's data, and software. The client agrees to hold My Tech Geeks harmless for any and all data and or software that may be lost or erased. The client also agrees to hold My Tech Geeks harmless for the consequences of the erasure or loss or damage to software, data, and hardware.

If requested, My Tech Geeks will provide training or additional support to the customer. Regular remote support rates apply.

The Client will also hold My Tech Geeks harmless for any issue or issues caused by a virus or malware on the clients system or systems. Viruses and malware can create issues on the clients computer. The client agrees that My Tech Geeks will not be held responsible for any damage caused by malware or viruses. If My Tech Geeks repairs issues caused by viruses or malware the client agrees to pay My Tech Geeks for that time in addition to the cost of the virus removal. The client also agrees to hold My Tech Geeks harmless of any hardware failure.

My Tech Geeks has a 7 day warranty on our virus/malware removal. Please contact My Tech Geeks immediately if the virus or malware has returned within the 7 day period. My Tech Geeks cannot guarantee that any antivirus will prevent all future virus or malware infections.
